Flingo Inc built the Flingo app as a free service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. Flingo and Manzil are two dating apps operated by the same legal entity (Flingo Inc), running on a single shared backend. By using Flingo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Our Services — Flingo and Manzil share one account and all data

Important disclosure — please read before creating a profile. Flingo Inc operates two dating apps — Flingo and Manzil — on a single shared backend. You should think of Flingo and Manzil as two different interfaces to the same account, not as two separate services. Anything you do in one app — including deleting your account — applies to both apps.

What this means in practice:

• One account, two apps. When you sign up on Flingo with a phone number or email, the same account is created on Manzil. Signing into Manzil with the same credentials opens the same profile, the same matches, the same conversations and the same settings.
• Your profile is discoverable in both apps. Your visible profile — display name, photographs, age, gender, city, bio, preferences and intent — appears to users browsing either Flingo or Manzil, subject to their filters. Your phone number, email and exact location are never visible to other users in either app.
• Matches, likes and super-likes are shared. Anyone you match with on Flingo also appears in your matches on Manzil. Likes you send or receive show up identically in both apps.
• Chats and call history are shared. Messages, audio calls and video calls live on the same backend and appear in whichever app you open. A conversation started on Flingo can be continued on Manzil, and vice-versa.
• Premium subscriptions apply across both apps. A Premium plan purchased on either Flingo or Manzil entitles the same account to premium features inside both apps. Billing for the subscription is still handled by the store (Google Play or App Store) where the purchase was made.
• Account-level actions are unified. Verification, profile edits, pausing your account, deleting your account, blocks, safety reports and bans all take effect across both Flingo and Manzil simultaneously, because the underlying account is the same.
• Settings and preferences are shared. Your filters, blocked users and privacy settings are stored once and apply in both apps.

If you do not want your profile to appear in both Flingo and Manzil, please do not create an account. Because the apps share a single backend, there is no way to make a profile visible in one app and not the other.

Age Requirement — 18+ Only

Flingo is strictly an adult dating service for users aged 18 years and older. By registering and using Flingo, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to create accounts.

If we discover that a user under 18 has registered on Flingo, we will immediately suspend their account and delete all associated data from our servers. If you believe an underage person is using Flingo, please contact us immediately at the address below.

Parents and guardians: if you believe your child (under 18) has created an account on Flingo, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate action.

Information We Collect

To provide our dating service, we collect the following information when you register and use Flingo:

• Identity information: Name, age, gender, date of birth
• Contact information: Phone number, email address
• Profile information: Photos, bio, preferences
• Location data: Current location (used to show you nearby singles)
• Social login: Facebook profile picture and email (if you sign in via Facebook)
• Usage data: App interactions, matches, messages (metadata only)
• Device information: Device type, OS version, IP address

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your dating profile
• To show your profile to potential matches on both Flingo and Manzil (our two dating apps that share a single backend — see “Our Services” above)
• To show you potential matches near your location
• To verify your identity and age (18+ requirement)
• To enable messaging between matched users
• To improve the app's features and safety
• To send service-related notifications (new matches, messages)
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and underage access

Location Data

Flingo uses your location to show you local singles near you — this is the core feature of the app. Your precise location is never displayed publicly to other users; only approximate distance is shown. You can disable location access in your phone settings, but this will limit the app's core functionality.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services that may collect information to identify you:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database, and crash reporting
• Google Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics

Log Data

When you use our Service, we collect Log Data in case of errors. This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, time and date of use, and other statistics. This data is used solely for debugging and improving the app.

Cookies

The Flingo app itself does not use cookies. However, our website (flingodating.in) may use cookies for analytics and functionality. Third-party services we use (such as Google Analytics) may also set cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your profile information is shared between our two own apps (Flingo and Manzil) as described in the “Our Services” section above — this is internal data use by the same company (Flingo Inc), not third-party sharing.

Beyond our own apps, we may share data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the apps (bound by confidentiality)
• Law enforcement when legally required
• Safety organizations to investigate abuse or underage access reports

Data Security

We use commercially acceptable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time directly from the Settings screen within the app. Because there is only one shared account behind both apps, tapping “Delete account” inside Flingo or Manzil permanently deletes the same single account. Your profile, photos, messages, matches, calls, settings and all associated data will be permanently removed from both apps and from our servers within 30 days, subject to legal retention exceptions. You do not need to delete the account separately in each app, and you cannot delete in one app while keeping it in the other.

Our Service may contain links to external websites. These sites are not operated by us and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Children's Privacy

Flingo is an 18+ service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that personal data has been submitted by someone under 18, we will delete it immediately. Contact us if you have concerns about underage access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately when posted. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Please review this page periodically.
